My experience with ATN is totally different than some of those expressed. My gen 1 had some bugs but as the firmware upgrades came out all of them were fixed. It is now working just as advertised. I bought a gen 2 off of Amazon listed as "As new with a few scratches". When I got it, I started playing with all the features it offers. One thing I did not do was check out the night vision mode. Our night hog season was about to start so I was getting all my gear ready. I thought I would see how the night vision would be. Golly gee wilikers!!! It is very dark and grainy. I contacted ATN's C/S and explained that I had bought it through Amazon and the 30 day money back had long passed. I asked them to give me an estimate of the repair cost. They sent a RMA and I shipped it to them. About a week later, I received a shipping notice. Three days later a brand new scope arrived at NO CHARGE!

I checked out the night vision and it worked as intended as well as all the other features. Since I was not the original owner and they had no way to tell what had been done to the scope, I never thought they would cover what ever the problem was under warranty. I could not be more pleased with the scope and their excellent C/S.
