Tim or H. Are the Rifle lengths going to be offered. I just noticed on Tim's site the customizable rifle length is a bargain and H. has his priced higher. I'm glad I'm with Tim. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Just joking!!!! Are rifle length rails going to be offered. I'm just wondering what's going to be the final options? Maybe we need a pole so ya'll might have a heads up on what people are wanting. I'm sure you two are having alot of fun taking on this big task. :lol:

The rifle length tubes in any brand cost us more. We are already taking a hit because everyone has raised their prices to us and I can't get parts from the same guys I have been using for the last few years. For example upper receivers are $20-30 more than they were 3 months ago, BCGs are also $30 more. Just in those 2 parts we lost close to $60/ upper. We are trying to keep the Xtreme at the $599.00 price we posted before the election but, it is getting more difficult to do that. I believe after we fill the initial orders the price may go up just to make it worth doing.
BTW- anyone who wishes to purchase an Xtreme without the BCG I will gladly sell you one $100 cheaper.
or just a barrel for $250 and you can build your own.

I know everything is hard to get. I'm trying to stock my new gun shop. It's going to be a long delay before I open full time. I can't get almost anything that is popular. Of course you can get the so so stuff. But that stuff won't move. I appreciate both you and Tim taking on this big undertaking. I just hope you can get the parts you need. I would offer what you can get. If that's not any options, so be it. Everyone should be thrilled with the barrel specs alone. All the rest is just icing on the cake.

Have you shot the 2 barrels you received yet? I bet it's like shooting in the deep freeze there!!!!

Tbh i do not mind paying a little more even at 600 or 700 this upper will be a deal i have bin looking at all the other custom/semi custom makers and there cheapest 6.8 uppers ate over a grand so no mater what i am willing to pay what ever H and Tim want to charge sent they will still be half of the closers competitor and probably blow them out of the water with prominence. OFC i am drooling over the DD rails even thow it is a 140.00 option but will settle with the diamond if he can not get them

I have no objection if you have to raise the price a bit to cover the higher unanticipated costs. Not your fault everything went up in price with the Obama panic.

Would not upset me at all if you need to raise your price. Believe me I understand, supply and demand, it's what drives the prices we pay for everything. I am just happy to be in on the preorder and am trying to make the rest of the rifle worthy of the upper to come. :mrgreen:

We are not raising the base price for those that pre-ordered during the 68 forums introductory sale, we just can't eat any more of the additional cost.
In about 3 weeks I should have everything finalized for the pre-sale orders and start taking new orders again.
Options may change due to availability of parts.
We will use the same mil-spec upper receivers Bushmaster has used for the last several years.
