These have become impossible to find anywhere. I really need the 551 D1 which was made briefly, then discontinued

No one else makes anything like this, unfortunately, and it is the only thing that works (for me) with all my guns, day or night, without having to spend $300 on a handguard. I just plain hate the A65 reticule when I am trying to see a target through all those "carnival lights." Just give me a simple, unobtrusive dot for a sight, so that I can focus on the target and place the bullet precisely.

Please help a brother out, if you can.....I am at my wits end.

SWFA has the 550 with the 1 moa dot but it is only good for gen 1-3 night vision. Don't know if it helps.

I just found it. Looks pretty cool, and I do like the single, transverse mounted CR123, since I can buy them at a good price from Surefire. I also like that they were smart enought include the D1 reticle as an option. That small profile should help, but they SHOULD HAVE PUT THE BUTTONS ON THE SIDE!!! :x

I thought that would become the standard. If any of you has ever tried to get a PVS-14 with 3X magnifier behind an Eotech, you know that the buttons are inaccessible once the NVD is mounted.

There is info on their site or you can just Google it. That would be the one I would get.

Thanks guys. Actually, I was hoping that someone was eventually going to sell a used D1. I bought one from a SWAT officer on ARFcom about 2 years ago, for $375. Nice guy, great deal.

I am going to hold out and buy the XPS D1 when it comes out. That looks good, since I need a very short one for my new Ruger 77/44 integrally suppressed Hog Slammer
