Yeah I'll be using my Mini-68, just mounted up a Burris 4-9x40 but haven't had a chance to range-zero it yet just the laser-bore-sight zero. I grew up in Fresno/Clovis, and have ridden motorcycles (both street and dirt) all around San Benito and South Monterey County. If you ever need a partner, Parkfield/Coalinga is not too far away for me.I am in Merced, CA - north of Fresno - Just hunted two weeks ago in the hills outside of Colinga and downed a nice hog. It's really HOT as you all know. Everything is moving at night.
Dean - good luck on the Deer tag - using your 6.8? I am always ready to go hunting, it's just about finding the property to go around here. I have access to a couple of spots, but it's too hot right now and unless we get special tags, we can't hunt at night.
I'm trying to put together a hunt in Gilroy on a friends property who is having piggy problems the 14th or 16th of August. Was the lady in the video wearing multicam pants ?Hey Boomshack,
I'm also in central/nor-cal (Los Gatos). I'm looking for somebody to tag along with on a first pig-hunt. I've hunted for Deer years ago with my Dad and am now getting back into hunting.
I'm also lucky in that I got a draw for Deer X3B (my first ever attempt at an X zone), and I have access to 800 acres private, surrounded by N.F. there. Dad and I will be going up there in Oct.
