Picked the last box up in North Las Vegas today. I thought these were all bought up over a year ago!

Great price, too. I'll check out my local stores.
Sweet. As said, good price. I know that when WalMart central distributing gets in ammo they break whatever they get down into small shipments to send out to the stores so this will be hit or miss.
Thats the clearance price from 2 years ago here. I bought the last they had local here.
Good Lord. I just paid $28.99 for an identical box of that very ammo just a few weeks ago.
I'm sure I lucked into this since it's the sale price to discontinue the line from Walmart stores, but checkout your local stores, or in my case, stores while on business.

I bought 10 boxes of the 115 gr fusion when my local walmart cleared them out. I haven't shot a round. I've been toying with the idea of listing them on the ee here to trade for an appropriate amount of the pulled gold dots.

Well, if that box sat on the shelf for 2 years at that price then that doesn't bode well for ever seeing them in that store again.
I've had a hard time finding it on shelves in mn

I have checked my local wal-marts and none sell 6.8 at all
My local walmart had 2 boxes sitting on the shelf for a few weeks, no one touched it. They were priced at 24 per box, I finally ended up just buying them when I was there, that was 2 years ago and i haven't seen them on the shelf since.

We may have just witnessed the last box that Walmart sold. So sad. I remember when they started showing up on shelves. I was sure it'd last forever. Oh well.
There was a spot marked for 6.8 ammo on the shelf at my local Walmart, but never any ammo. That same spot is filled with .270 now. The spot for 7.62x39 is gone also.
I know a guy that's been the sporting goods manager at a Walmart for several years. I called him a couple years ago about stocking 115 fusions. He explained that he can no longer order and stock Ammo even though he knows what will sell in his area. He said each store has a list of what Ammo they are allowed to stock and they are allotted so many boxes. Corporate office decides who can stock what and how much.

My Wally World never heard of 6.8!

This is pretty much what I have learned in talking with multiple sporting goods managers. Corporate dictates what they do whether the store can achieve the results expected. This has been happening since Sam passed away.
There has NEVER been a round of 6.8 in my Walmart Superstore. Piss poor selection of just about everything.

Very true. I talked to the manager of my store about the ammunition situation. He, too, said that some corporate 'shill' dictated what calibers and how much they could stock. He also said he got a lot of people just like me asking the same question. He thinks he could sell a hell of lot more ammo, and guns, as well, it he could run it himself.
