As I understand it, unless you go the custom route on say a rem 700 action or Savage action, your limited to only remington, NOW that may change after SHOT next weekend but for now, it seems its only Big Green.

The Savage Short Action Model 25 is available in 223 and 204 Ruger at this time. Perhaps Savage could be inticed into making a 6.8SPC in this model.

From what I was recently told, Remington has dropped the 700 in 6.8spc from their product line. Their website still shows the 700SPS but the law enforcement site does not have them listed anymore. I finally have my 700 project together and waiting for better weather to go and hit the range.

Ruger now makes a Compact Hawkeye in 6.8.

So far, it's not all weather. I'd like to see an 18" barrel, 11 or so twist.

Cooper has some 6.8s if you like pretty and expensive
