VLTOR emod or Magpul CTR?

I'm trying to make a decision.

I like the idea of the emod, but frankly the beard thing bothers me--in that in a emergency SHTF scenario, I don't think people will be shaving all that much. Plus I do tend to have a goatee from time to time.

On occassion, I do get some facial hair grabbage at the buffer extension tube, which is the suck; however, I have several of the CTR's and really like them for functionality.

I really, really, really want Brownells to send me a UBR for my nex Extreme.

I guess Im just weird, but I think just about every aftermarket stock is fugly, with the exception of the CTR/MOE and the UBR. The CTR is just plain jane, but at the same time, not ugly at all. The UBR is the only non CTR I really see myself owning.

CTR for a rifle with 16" barrell or shorter.

UBR for rifles with 18-20" barrels. The CTR is a little light to offset the weight of longer barrels and still maintain good balance.

Paulo likes the EMOD...but I think the CTR is generally more popular.

Kerry is correct. I love the E-Mod. It is my favorite stock for the price. If the beard thing bothers you, \just put some black electrical tape to cover the holes.
