Just that. I have not crimped any that I have reloaded but normally, I use a Lee FCD to lightly crimp cases for 6.8, .308, etc.

I have not tried a 6.8 FCD on the .270 MSR nor a .308 FCD on the Tac 30 and I guess that might be logical to try but, I thought I would ask if there is a more correct or feasible solution before I walk out to the shop and sweat. In the back of my mind, I keep thinking someone mentioned a 30-30 die but I have not seen it in my more recent reading on the two rounds...fixing to go read again

30 Herrett FCD works fine on the Tac 30. I don't have any experience with the 270MSR.
thks! I thought I searched for 30 Herrett, but that was before lunch LOL. But I just looked again and did not see one listed.

A search of the thread turned up this part #80228 . Lee is not showing it so I guess I will drop them a line. thanks for putting me on track :)

They are just collet dies. I can't imagine why any .30 caliber wouldn't work for the Tac 30 and any .270 or 6.8 wouldn't work for the other.
