I am build a AR-15 myself (something I have always wanted to do) an of course will chambered for the 6.8 spc. I have a few of the parts need. But not sure what barrel to get. I have read many threads about barrel length an I know there is not much differance between 16" an 20" inch. I have been thinking of going with a 18" barrel,dont need 16" one I wont be clearing any house with this one. but my Q is what brand of barrel should I get? Any feed back will help, an thanks.

I would look towards WOA or Bison Armory for an 18-20 inch barrel. I think those are the only two current manufacturers with an 18 inc offering

White Oak Armament direct, or Denny's GTS (sponsor above) has WOA barrels spec'd out for his custom uppers.

Bison just ordered barrels so you'd have to get with them to see what they have coming in.
