Biden's new defense secretary to impliment new measures to weed out racists and extremists from the military ranks. That's lib speak for any soldiers that might think defense of US citizens and the constitution might be more important than defense of the socialist/communist party currently in power.

I'm linking 2 news sources. I included the NY Post because it contained this factoid I'd not heard before:

"According to a report, nearly 20 percent of the Capitol rioters facing charges are former or current military members."

Could have been that those folks were just tired of the lefty political CRAP and showed up to show their support?? BUT, the media (and liberal politicians too) will put the best spin on anything.
Me thinks, "their time is coming". I'll wait patiently. ;)

OP hit the nail on the head...there is going to be a push for "company men" in increased billets of responsibility, while Constitutionalists are slowly getting passed for promotion.

I saw it well underway during my tenure at the Pentagon ('12-15). Lot of dudes already believed that citizens shouldn't have access to semi-automatic guns etc... and that big Gov is better capable of taking care of the population than the population is.

There are some. I had my run ins with a couple in my service time. However the service is a microism of society. Anything you run into on the outside you will run into on the inside. Most tend to lean or be conservative though.

Will they "weed-out" the left extremists also? Let's face it, they just want to ask the question "If ordered, will you bear arms against your own countrymen?"

The free question/comment time after the "brief" led to a very good discussion about the Constitution. In the end I would say there was more positive when you weighed that in. The soldier who stood up needs to do the "Constitutional response" to SecDef's statement.

Friends in the military are saying if your a yes man or woman, you get promoted, if not find a different line of work. That was starting when I retired in 2013. The Chiefs were running the show then, now officers are telling chiefs how to do things. I fought back every time. Tell me what needs to be done and it will get done if it didn't go against the Constitution.

Its hard to believe that any of the leftists would ever join the ranks of our military. I don’t think I ran into any during my time in 04-09

This has been going on since Slick Willy was the President. They came after Special Forces as a Racist organization. A support troop from 7th SFG(A) painted a swastika on his own door. Slick Willy even mentioned it in the State of the Union address. CID investigated, found droplets of red spray paint on the support troops boots (trooper just happened to be black, tried to make it a race issue). Media quickly hid those facts from the public. After that the command at the USAJFKSWC(A) (Special Forces School) went head hunting for supposed racist. I know of two cases where they accussed SF NCOs of being extremist. Both cases made national news, then both cases backfired on the head hunters.

When Barry was in office, he went after any senior officer or NCO that wasn't lock step with Barry's ideology. It had a negative effect on the ranks and still does. Bozo will do the same thing Barry did. Can't have those who will fight for the Constitution refusing to go door to door looking for weapons and ammo now can we?

This is part of the plan. They need to disarm people like us and they need to make sure we're not carrying arms in the ranks of their army. Anyone that's conservative or doesn't think "woke, political correctness" is branded a racist and extremist and should be subjugated.

And it's all because they're scared of us. They're scared of what will happen when we get fed up with their radical leftist bullshit that's decaying our society and culture.

They hit USMC snipers for having "SS" brands...it was for Scout Sniper, but anyway. I also remember (being an Amphibious Assault Vehicle guy for many years) that they hit our Light Armored Reconnaissance platoon on the MEU in '06 or '07 for having "Stosstruppen" painted across the backs of their vehicles.

I quit enjoying my job in 2010, but had another 7 years of having to keep my mouth shut about things because I wanted to retire.

I deployed as an enabler of sorts with 3rd SFG back in 2016. They were a great group of dudes. Best deployment I was ever on.

'22 election can't come soon enough!
I dont get the hope that anything will be different. The '22 election will be more of the same, voter fraud, stolen elections and rinos.

Hopefully '22 election we will get at least one of the legislative branches back to keep them from railroading anything else through and maybe reverse some of the damage already begun.
