I know some of you have seen this before but we are still looking for two more members for the 3-gun match the end of June at the Tiger Valley range. It is a team shoot of 4 persons.
Our spot is already secure.
Bucknrut and myself have completely commited and I know there are a few others interested but wanting to put it out there that we are looking for teammates of all skill level's
The trick is we will be running 6.8 spc's for the match.
It is $150 a person and is a two day match that should be great fun. We will also be competing against Cold's team so we can't let them win. LOL

I might come watch, I have no idea what goes on at one of those. Where will it be held? Can someone just come and watch? I assume 1 rifle 1 pistol 1 shotgun is the three gun thing. I have that covered, may be interested in participating just think I should come and check it out first.

its not a 3 gun per say

its rifle and handgun only. One person of the 4 needs to be able to shoot out to 400-500 yards as there will be a stage or two with that requirement (if you cant, just shoot AT it, take the procedural for FTN the target and move on, not that big a deal).

Cold's team is a bunch of kangaroos so you anyone should be able to beat us.

Now the crew I am going with to the FN Midwest 3 Gun Championship.... aka "The traveling road show" 3 of the 4 guys in that group are GMs...

Never hurts to bring one, but I was told its not needed, IF YOU NEED ONE, the stage has one used in it , that sort of thing and thus it will be provided.

Again no one in my group is hauling one as we were told its not needed.

Also, if you guys cannot get 2 other guys with 68's just shoot it with 556.

The COF is not round intensive, and thats the trend these days due to higher ammo prices.

Id not worry about finding 2 68 shooters at this point and just get 2 more guys to make a team

Got the word from TJ pilling today. A shotgun will be used but the team can share it so as long as one person has one then no worries for the others.
I agree with Cold at this point mights well be whoever wants to enter with a 5.56 or 6.8. Would rather someone from this site though.
If nothing comes up will go ahead and post on AR-15.com and see what happens.
The team can be mixed I still plan on shooting the 6.8.

I am shooting 6.8 no matter what. Those are the only two rifles I have other than my bolt action. I am fine with the other people shooting 5.56, there were actually 2 other people from the other site that I talked to a while back that are interested in the match but don't have a team. I might wait another day or two before I contact them though.

Id contact them before they find 2 other people and just get a team solidified, but thats me.

I find it interesting that neither the poster nor the host website can actually post the dates of this match. Tough for anyone to commit with other than 'late June'.

The match is June 27-28, it is a Saturday and a Sunday. If you go to the calendar section of the website and click on the month of June you will find it towards the bottom.

Buck if you have talked to some guys already then give them a shout and see if they will commit. If not I will post this on AR-15 today. Cold is right it is now to close to the time to keep waiting.

I just heard from one of those guys, and he is still interested and without a team. I emailed him back and told him to let me know if he can commit.

if anyone drops out i would be interested. gotta make sure the ball and chain doesnt have me previously engaged but im pretty positive im good. will have to use 556 unless my 6.8 finally gets here been backordered since first week of january.

I really doubt anyone on our team will drop out. But if you can find another person or two who already paid (this is a must, they will not except any new teams) there is another person on arfcom looking for a team.
