Torque of Leupold Aluminum Right Scews?

What torque should one do for the screws for Leupold scope aluminum rings? That's putting the top to the bottom half rings.

I did them to 15 in/lbs. please let me know if I did it right.

i might be totally off here but i was always told to never torque anything on scope rings. i was taught to sung them up and then go 1/4 to 1/2 turn and nothing more. anything else may damage the scope or mount. don't take this as gospel but thats what i do and have never had one come loose. (and i don't use any type of locktite or adhesive either)

Thanks guys! I did some internyet searching on that one. I just wanted to be sure.

This is for my brother's back up rifle and a tough scope, not totally great but Barska does make tough ones. I bore sited it and had trouble with the fine lines but turned on the IR crosshairs and it lined up perfectly. Just need to sight in now.
