Worked ER last night.

Mostly unresponsive "alcohol poisoning" not answering questions. RN asked "Are you a Democrat? "

Very prompt "No!"

Our nation's debt... last I heard, approaching 32 trillion. Remember when we were howling that it was approaching ONE trillion? Here's a perspective:

We have 332 million people in the U.S. (roughly). Let's (incorrectly) assume EVERY one of those people is actually responsible for, and will repay that debt. Wrap your head around that.

Old man: "Two guys are breaking into my tool shed."
911 operator: "I'm sorry sir, but we don't have any officers available. I suggest you stay inside until we can get a car there."
Old man: "Okay."
Five minutes goes by.
911 operator: "9-1-1, how can I help you?"
Old man: "I called about the men breaking into my tool shed. Don't hurry, I just shot them."
Forty five seconds later 4 patrol units show up and arrest the two unharmed thieves.
Cop to Old man: "I thought you said you shot them?"
Old man to Cop: "I thought you didn't have any officers available?"
