There is something about Orlando

Seems to be something strange going on in Orlando as it all started with the murder of Christina Grimmie from the tv show, "The Voice" followed by the nightclub shooting the following night. It seems that there is something odd going on that might even be in the water there.

My hometown. Born and raised a few miles from where the shooting took place.
That is a lot of the problem. We went overseas in 70 and disney opened while we were in England. We came back in 71 and you already could barely recognize the place. It used to be such a nice conservative town.

I drove to Orlando from Hattisburg with my sister in-law and her three kids in a Toyota truck with a camper right after it opened up. Space mountain was not yet open. The things we did back then....

I watched it being built from atop an overpass. I used to ride my bike over there and could see all the cranes and construction equipment in the swamps where my dad and I used to hunt. I have never been to Disney or any of the theme parks around there. Went to Busch gardens a few times in Tampa but they gave away free beer so...
The Father fought with the gator. had he had a concealed carry weapon he could have shot the gator and saved his son. The nightmares this man will have for the rest of his life...
Dont forget about the Causeway Cannibal in Miami. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miami_cannibal_attack
Yes, even the critters are turning to radical Islam. The suspect is known throughout the community as Alla Gator.
Sad situation. We lived on a lake in the Orlando area before moving to Texas. I had a 5-6 ft alligator come out of the water as I was walking a new puppy on the bank shortly after we moved into our home there. That gator made somebody a nice pair of shoes or handbag after a quick phone call. Later found out a lady two doors down, and which put up a stink when we were trying to removed the gator, was the one who was feeding it.

Learned to always keep my eye on the water when walking along lakes.
Your old neighbor is responsible for that gator's death. Feeding wildlife makes them dependent and comfortable around humans. A dangerous situation when the animal is a predator. I think there is another thread around here that starts like that.

Yea but as long as someone ate it I have no problem with killing them. They are not endangered like they once were and they are very tasty.
