We here on this forum mostly talk about dispatching vermin both 2 and 4 legged with specific gear.

Are you a prepper? Do you grow your own food? Do you already preserve your own food? What are you trying to freeze dry for, Self, family?

When I vacume bag a rifle for long term storage, I usually drop in a few freeze dried strawberries as treats for when I have to recover the rifle. Just adds to the sweetness of seeing an old friend again.

I’ve tried freeze-dried coffee 🤮, does that count? Couldn’t find freeze-dried cream for it either. I do have some freeze-dried dear meat, we normally just call it freezer burned tho. Saving it for the dog. I’d probably try freeze-dried water.

That's not that hard, you just have to travel to either the north or south poles. Or in winter boil some water and toss it the air and then trying to catch it is another adventure.

I know, but I have to be as pre-emptive as possible to protect the Membership from someone sending a PM to advise "they have a cousin who has exactly what you're looking for..." and a fine Member in good standing getting hosed.
