I just got back from the range. I was testing out the SSS buffer spring that was delivered yesterday. It works great. After buying my Stag upper and Spike's lower. I started reading everything I could on this forum. My wife calls it gun porn. Anyway everything worked great at the range today, it was real windy and I was only shooting at about 50 yards but still put 10 shots in an area about 2". I shot 50 rounds that all ejected around 3-4 oclock position with no issues. When I first got the rifle I was lucky to get 10 rounds without having to clear a jam or something. Thanks to all that have posted on here, because of you I now have a setup that I am happy with.

Stag upper 1/10 w/ homemade m4 ramps
FSC 30
Wolff extractor spring
ACE socom stock
Spikes ST T2 buffer
Eotech w/ 3x FTS
Spikes lower
Timney 4# Trigger
Daniel Defense 7.0 rail
Grip Pod
I have put a Hogue grip on it since the pics

This is a great group. You're Spiked Stag looks sharp. How's the EOTech magnifier working for you?

I like the magnifier, I have only used it out to 100yards but at that range it is great. My wife loves to shoot since I got it, she shot 4 clays at 100 yards with 4 shots today. I might stop taking her with me.

Socom stock is solid, a little expensive but I believe worth the money. I might put one of their lightweight models on my 5.56 Stag.

That's a great looking rig.
I'm real curious to know your thoughts on the FSC30. Sound level? Blast?

The sound level isn' that much more than a .223 and I kind of like the fact that it makes people notice that I am not shooting a .223. As far as blast- people won't stand right next to you, but if it bothers them they are to close anyway. It doesn't blast right back at you. It looks cool too. I would recommend it. Also I did not shoot it with the birdcage that it came with so I can't compare it with that.
