Thought this could be a fun poll. I have really been noticing we have alot of Texas members, maybe the hunting is better out there and everybody has caught wind of the 6.8 I love Texas and this is nothing bad about Texas nor its inhabitants, just thought it would be intreresting to see how many Texans there are to a Non Texans. I think it's going to be signifant enough that we could group Texas as one catergory vs the rest of the US.

LMAO, Ive been contemplating posting that up since the original thread was started.... but I sure dont see many hornes on user pics.

We too can own pretty much anything, but still have the "no concealed carry" issue. We do have open carry, which has been tested heavily as of late.
I wouldn't mind visiting Texas, especially for the hog hunting. I don't know if I could adjsut to whitetail that don't hit at least 100# though.

I've been to WI and enjoyed it there. Some of my favorite beverages and enchilada stuffings (cheese) comes from WI.

There are bigger deer here than 100lbs. Some strains tend to be smaller some larger. It depends on the location. However if you want large game you can always hunt the 300+ lb. wild pigs.

No bashing Texas here, born and raised in the Hoosier state, now I live in work in the Buckeye state. I visited Texas once for a week spring break!!!

I was born and raised.... joined the army and moved around and am now in NC at FT Bragg, and am getting out and will be moving back to Texas in July

That picture was taken after the last time someone said that line.

You know funny story the history behind that line is the writer was pissed off because his hot girlfriend left him for a guy from San Antonio. I think it was said out of anger. No really it's true. LOL!!!!!

I was born in Texas and will be moving back.... but Alaska is really the state to live in. If all of my wife's and my own family wasn't in Texas, I would move back there. I know I will catch a lot of flak for saying it, but its great, there's no droughts, no wasps, no crazy drivers, and you don't even need an CHL to carry concealed. And the governor is way hotter. OK, let the flaming commence...

I would have to say Alaska is a good alternative. Definitly a much better looking Govenor
As Buck said a down turn would be the game that can bite back but that could add to the challenge. And the freeze out for 6+months out of the year.

There are plenty of AF bases for you in Texas. F16's in Fort Worth, C-130's also. Then in Abilene you can fly B1B's. San Antonio is one big AF base.
