I'd take the Stag, unless it's a longer wait. Have you tried Pete at Legal Transfers for the RRA? I hear He works miracles.
http://www.ar15sales.com/index.htm and he sales both Stag and RRA

If you have a long wait with both Stag and RRA, you really should consider ordering an Xtreme upper. The Xtreme has "ALL" the features you could want in a 6.8 upper. Properly spec'd 11.25 twist, 5R rifling, chrome lined 4150 steel, DMR chamber, proper bolt set up, free float handguard of your choice, gas block of your choice, muzzle device of your choice in the correct 5/8-24 threads, not to mention "real" factory M4 feed ramps. For the price, there is no competition for the Xtreme upper.

Look at the KISS chart and see the differences.

Stag has 1:11 and CL'ing but the lack of M4 feed ramps can damage bullets reducing accuracy. Plus for some reason, they still use 9mm type muzzle threads instead of the industry standared 5/8-24 threads everyone else uses.

RRA has the older 1:10 twist currently. They have a 1:11 in the works, but who knows when that'll show up. RRA cuts in extended feed ramps, but the ones I've seen lately aren't as well done and thoroughly cut-in as if the ramps were in a factory M4 upper.

If you are going RR + 1 to Peter in NH! Before I knew how to build em I bought a RR 5.56 from him with my choice of parts. He was great.

I would however look at building your own lower and getting the Extreme upper or a Novekse upper.

Like booy said check jojo's gunworks, they have model 5 and model 7 in stock as of Monday, I think one of the model 5 was lefty. They charge the same as the stag site plus ffl fee. Ask for Jodi and ask himto cut the M4 feed ramps in it before he ships it to you. He did mine on my model 7 for free since I bought it from him

The stag uses a non standard muzzle threading. It has only the carbine gas system and no M4 ramps. All of these things make it the lower choice IMO. Now matter how great a barrel is or isn't does not mean crap if you gun jams bullet and or has cycling issue etc and accuracy issue as well becasue of this. These issue are well documented if you do a search.

IMO RRA is a better choice for function and accuracy. STAG does have a better spec'd barrel. I think RRA is what I woudl choose. It really is a throw up depdnign how you look at it but I always put function and relaibly above everything else.

Both companies seem to have good customer service.

I have a RRA that I got from Pete (another big +1 for him). It does not have M4 ramps although they are relieved to assist in feeding. One of the reasons I liked the RRA over Stag was that it was mid-length gas. Although I have yet to actually break it in they are reputed to be very accurate.
