Hi everyone i am new to this so please bear with me. I just recieved my Stag left handed 6.8 bolt carrier assembly and the bolt seems small for the casing. How do i know if i have a 6.8 or a 5.56 Bolt. It is not stamped anywhere that i can see.

it should be stamped 6.8 if it is a CMT/Stag product but you will need to take it out of the carrier to see it.

I can't see anything on the bolt except the letters CM
If this is the case do i have a left handed 5.56 bolt.
Also is the rest of the upper wrong

Hey Constructor thanks for the quick reply. I saw nothing on the bolt so i called my brother as he has built a 6.8. He told me to get my dial calipre out and check the size across the bolt face. I did and it perfectly matches the demension of his 5.56. Also i had a spent 5.56 casing and it fits. So looks like i get to send my whole bolt carrier assembly back to stag. I am left handed so i get to pay the upcharge for the parts so i will send the whole thing back.
