Not sure if the episode of G&A TV was new, recent or old news, but I was flipping channels and when I got to The Sportsman Channel, they were in the middle of a segment on the Stag 7. Not sure who the reporter was (wasn't one of the main guys like Boddington or Fortier) but he gave the Stag 7 and the 6.8 a glowing report. Besides the physical attributes of the Stag 7, he discussed the SPC II chamber and the 4 groove, 11 twist barrel that "allowed the shooter to use hotter loads without seeing pressure signs" which in turn allowed for higher velocity and more stopping power. He also related how it was a great hunting round, easy to shoot and as evidence told how his 8 year old son shot several javalina and 4 deer last season including a large south Texas buck (picture shown on screen).

Overall a very good testimonial for the 6.8.

I would have to say it is a pretty recent episode if they were talking the SPC II chamber and 1:11 twist. Either way it is good news.

The one I saw today was not this clip (Venola and Boddington). It was a review specific to the Stag 7 with good additional info on the 6.8 cartridge in general. But, the more positive press the better!!

According to the program guide, G&A TV plays again on the Sportsman Channel on Sunday Morning @ 1:30 am edt. I am going to set up the DVR to see if it the same show and what the first half of the segment said.
