Does anyone know if anything changed with the SST line of bullets in the last couple of years?

I bought some new ones for my 50 cal muzzleloader last year after I exhausted my previous stash. That gun has always been an absolute hammer. Deer never took a step and blood everywhere when you walked up to them. Last year and this year I have shot 3 medium sized deer, all within 100 yards. While they died fairly close there was absolutely zero blood trail and even hardly any blood where they were laying.

The SST line of bullets has not changed recently. They are known to perform just as you described, e.g., conflicting terminal results. No exit wound or blood trail is most common for me. Only had one that left an exit wound and massive blood trail.
