I didn't know SSA was still making Large rifle primer 6.8 brass - interesting. Also, saw their 5.56 223 Ammunition, 63 grain Sierra Soft Point offering - that would be a good deer/hog load. I always see Remington or Winchester 60-65gr loads mentioned as good for deer hunting, now I'll remind that SSA has a comparable hunting load too!!!

Art posted on another thread that they decided to do a run of the large rifle primers as they get a lot of requests for it. He cited that there are a lot of people that are just used to using Rem brass with the large primers. All I know is that I had to take advantage of the cheaper price on the small primer brass. Bought two bags of that and a couple boxes of the pro-hunters. Finally got something to start shooting when I finish my upper.
