Has anyone ever loaded the Speer 100 gr. HP bullet in 6.8? I bought these bullets fifteen years ago to load for my .270 Win. as an off-season plinker round. I was never satisfied with the results so now I have a lot of them laying around. It seems to me it would be a good bullet to load in the 6.8.

It's a flat-base bullet with a pretty large hollow point, I am assuming it's a varmint-type bullet. Could someone recommend a place to start with this bullet, using either H335 or Benchmark.

With benchmark go up to 31 GR, if you can stuff that much in there. With H335, go up to 31 GR also if you have a good barrel.

Thanks Paulo! I have a WOA SPCII chamber barrel with 1/11 twist rifling. Initial results with this barrel are promising with the few loads I shot this past weekend.

I've had none in exactly 500 that I've put downrange. I didn't do any rapid fire though, and my upper has M4 feedramps.
