Picked up this pristine model 10-5 recently in 38 special. Serial number puts the production year at 1968. Blueing is around 95%, with only a slight turn ring on the cylinder. It’s definitely been a safe queen.

Something very special about the SnW Model 10
Yes, they are great revolvers. I’ve been looking for a 10 in this condition for a while, and I’m extremely happy with my purchase. It had a set of Hogue grips when I got it, but they had to go.

I found a set of period correct walnut grips that are beautiful.

Hogues never looked right to me. I was always a Pachmayr Gripper fan when it came to rubber grips.
