I hadn’t shot my 6x6.8 in a couple months so I thought I’d blow it out and stretch it out a little. It has been very accurate at 100 yards with my load of 30 grains of AA2230, CCI 450 and a 70 grain Nosler BT @ 3150 fps so why not try it a little farther. Using the Weaver 2-8 power scope might be a little challenging for my 70 year old eyes but will give it a try.

200 yards looked pretty good at a little less than 1 MOA


400 yards did okay at 1 MOA with a 7mph swirling wind

I would take that all day. The 6x68 is a great round. My buddy has 16” barrel done by Rich and we loaded up some 55gr at 3450. LT32 was key. It pops Jack rabbits in the most entertaining way.

Thanks. I got my 18” barrel from Rich also and I like it, very accurate and just about every bullet I’ve tried shoots good.
