Been running my PSA PA10 Gen 3 308 lately to test its effectiveness on hogs vs my 6.8.
Jury is still out which one I like the best. The 6.8 is lighter though.
Took this big sow with PPU 308 165 gr BTSP at approximately 110 yards. Was moving through planted pines. Shoulder shot pass through dropped and immobilized her. Tough old girl as she needed a finishing shot.
Three different heart girth weight estimate formulas came up with 300 pounds (300, 302, 307).
