I'm a former Combat Engineer and now work as a carpenter for the state of Idaho. I just recentely got my first 6.8, "named her Betty" and think it is far superior to the 5.56mm I was issued in the service!! Hopefully the boys over in SF are using these more and more! Betty is an LAR lower, an FN upper, ER shaw matchgrade barrel, yankee hill free floating fore-arm, Yankee hill gas block w/ front site app., yankee hill folding rear sight, hand lapped bolt, & a VLTOR stock! Not too shabby if you ask me. Found an excellent guy to work with ,"former 10th SFG" who builds these rifles if anyone is interested. I just got done breaking the barrel in and have yet to add some good optics but even with iron sights shes shooting 1in. M.O.A.s! My intrests mainly fall into hunting of any kind, shooting, and reloading. I also love spending time camping with my wife and kids and friends & family.
