**** Item is SOLD ****

I have an unfired RRA upper. I did have it mounted briefly on a lower and a rear site on but used those parts to put together a different 6.8. Short of funds to put another one together. These are reputed to be very accurate and compatible with SSA Combat and Tactical Loads.

Pics available on request but it looks just like the one on RRA's site:

Specs:
A4 upper (flat top)
16" chrome moly (not chrome lined)
Mid-length gas
1:10
SPCII
complete bolt carrier group
charging handle

$500 FTF (South King Co) or add shipping
USPS money order

Which one is it and how much do you want for it? Thanks.

Jim

ps Did you end up getting a 10mm 1911 at some point?
Hi,
It is the bottom one in the pic (flat top). It is $500+shipping. It is unfired just sat on a lower for a while. I am not getting out of 6.8 but have put together an alternate matching Mega upper/lower combo.

I did end up getting a Dan Wesson Commander Bobtail in 10mm. It is great. Going to be getting a fullsize in the future. Waiting for the Vltor Bren-Ten (yep, they bought the rights to the name) or if it doesn't come out I am thinking of having Fusion build one.

Too many projects, too little $$$ :)

I remember that. You were vacillating between a 45 and a 10mm, I recommended the 10. That was on the 1911 Forum, Dan Wesson section. Funny the things I remember.

I won't have the money up for this for a couple of days, but when I do, I do want to get this from upper from you. Let me know how much shipping is, and I'll send you a MO in the next few days. My ZIP is 22192.

BTW, I'm up to two 10mms now, a 610 and a Kimber.

Sounds good! I will PM you the shipping details. Just weighed it at the PO.
How do you like the Kimber? Eclipse?

Stainless II Target. Awesome gun. The target sights are not so good shooting combat, great for static target shooting though. I'm thinking of getting the tritium sights for it just to make it easier to shoot 3-Gun.

I want an Eclipse but I know the first ding I put in the fancy finish would make me mad :)
I like the STII also but, I don't understand why they don't checker the front strap (Razorback isn't either). I was under the impression that the STII had adjustable tritium sights? I do need a fullsize 10mm. DoubleTaps fling that poor Commander slide around like its not even there (and that's with a 26# spring!) :p

You can get adjustable tritium sights, but they don't come with the gun. As for the checkering, I don't know. The metal has a grainy texture to it, so it's kind of superfluous. And that reminds me, I need to put the new spring in and try it out this weekend, it comes with a 17 or 18 lb spring.

BTW, I shoot this one handed too, using either hand. Can't do double-taps, but I seem to shoot more accurately one handed than with two. Weird.

I'm I reading this right? You prefer to shoot one handed?

I will have to recheckout the STII. It felt good in the hand. It may not need f.s. checkering (although I am fond of it).
I don't mind the adjustable sights for a fullsize. hmm...
Too many projects! :)
