got my dillon blue press yesterday, on the back page is an advert for roller bearing magazine followers, fortunately there is no price listed cause i likely would be unconscious if there were. hmmm, just searched for some and they are in the $12 range

oops, put this in the wrong topic, delete or move please

they are made by promag, called the RM30 --- retail for about $19, but some claim the "street price" is going to be near $12 : https://promagindustries.com/ar-rifle/602-rm-30-ar-15-556mm-roller-follower-30-rd-black-polymer.html
cpd has em for 12.97, i have plenty of 556 mags tho
Can anyone tell me what problem(s) a roller on the follower solves? Does it handle dirt or grit better?

Supposed to be more reliable, less friction, non tilt
While it's an interesting idea, the fact that it's a Promag scares me away.
I own a Ruger Mini 6.8. Ruger only made a 5 round mag for it. Promag makes a 20 round magazine of which I have 2 and they work just fine.
