They jsut announced on the XCR board that they will be getting some 1-11 twist barrels blanks that they will be turning into wonderful chrome lined, 6.8 shootin machines. they will be available in 18.6" and 16".

not sure on the time frame, but based on past experience i would guess that we should see something by Juneish (my SWAG :? )

if you are interested then get on the XCR forum and let Terra know you want one. beleive it or not asking for it there actually can yield results.

I've lusted after the XCR since I fondled one of the very first production units several years ago at Knob Creek. Now I'm thinking of what I can sell to get one in 6.8. Maybe I don't need all those "cowboy" guns...

Yeah, that XCR with a 1-11 will become my main SHTF goto gun and replace a couple others entirely. Now all I need is a proper BDC for the scope, 15 more mags, a decent flash hider and a shitload of ammo.
