Just got the SPR mount from larue. I have it all mounted up and looks great!

I tightened down the bottom screws first and then the top, there is a small gap where the 2 rings come together at the top is it normal?

Yes. Also use blue loctite on the screws.

What he said. Perfectly normal on all the Larue rings I have used. I use blue loctite on almost all fasteners used on firearms especially optics.

+3 on the blue locktite. Even works on the big boomers like 45-70.
