A friend of mine has found a complete AR15 built on a PWA lower. The lower is not beat up but has been used. It looks like it has been painted, not parkerized. I didn't have the opportunity to look real close at it but one thing I didn't like about it was, magazines were very hard to insert and remove. At first I thought something was wrong with the mag until I tried a couple different ones.

Currently this rifle is tied up in an estate but it might be for sale at a later date.

What can anybody tell me about PWA? Thanks

The PWA lowers in general have very tight mag wells & have issues with Magpul Pmags.

I own a few & as long as you are using USGI mags you should be fine.

The last Pre-ban lower is #35,222. Anything below that would be good for a ban state like mine (CT) or NY,MASS,NJ

Let me know if it becomes available, I might be interested ( I must resist buying any more firearms especially prebans)

2nd that. Also behind enemy lines in CT. I have been trying to get my hands on one for the longest time. Currently deployed wont be back till mid feb so please lmk if/when it becomes avail.
