I've been wanting to pick up a few more mags for hunting purposes and load workup and was wondering what the latest consensus is on these two mags.I know that the PRI allows me to load longer which is a plus for us reloaders but I've also read that they've been having issues with sticking followers and out of spec mag bodies.
What's everyone else doing for mags and just how far out can one reliably load a CP mag?
Thanks guys.

I have a 10 rounder c p and some 15 round pri's. Neither has given me any issues but I like the pri's much better. They seem to be made better, have the waffle look, and better springs. I'd go with the pri's but again, I do have that 1 cp and it's been flawless.

C products are cheaper if that matters

I would order the 5 or 10 round PRI mags I have a ton of them and they all work great. like I have said before you may have to tweak the feed lips but that is it.

I have one PRI mag (a 5 rounder) I picked up for hunting since we have a mag limit in my State for big game hunting. I tried it in 5 different lowers with my 6.8 upper and it would only drop free in two and only feed rounds out of one. I don't consider that to be very good odds of getting one that works in your rifle. I have around ten CProducts 10 round mags and two of their 5 round mags that fit in ever lower I tried them in. No feeding problems whatsoever either. I personally prefer CProducts based upon my experience.

I will jump on the PRI bandwagon. I have a couple for hunting and accuracy. Also have the C-prods and Barretts for everything else. Comp,SHTF,whatever else.

I have both 10's in CP and PRI, my PRI's load longer @ 2.305 and the CP's like 2.295. I usually load out to 2.290 max so I can use either mags. I have no issues with either mags and both feed well and have never needed any reworking at all.

On a side note what I have noticed about CP 15-17 depending on the followers are if you experience and feed problems I set these mags aside, clean them and continue to break them in. All became reliable after the 4-5 loadings, and this is with out tweaking the feed lips. YMMV

I purchased a few 10 round C-products mags from JT distributing. They came with the black magpul 6.8 followers which is slightly different than the grey ones. The also have grey ss bodies, not the gloss black. I think they use a chrome silicone spring as well.

As far as I know, everyone who's had problems with the PRI mags have had them on the 25rnd models. I have some 10rnd PRIs and they have worked without a hitch out of the bag. In my opinion, the CP mags need a reshaping of the top of the body (which has compelled me to many minutes under a bright light with a pair of glasses and a Dremmel with a grinding stone in it) and the PRI mags need the feed lips tweaked to get the most out of either of these.

I wouldn't hesitate to get the 10rnd PRIs if you intend to reload as they allow you the extra COAL. If you don't reload, save some money and get the CP (just don't order them from the CP site, go with a reseller).
