I have seen the PRI 6.8 spc comp and I like the looks of it on the AR. Could you let me know what you think of this comp and where the cheapest place to buy one would be?

They are great for reducing recoil and controlling muzzle rise, but they are loud and have a lot of wide blast. I like the FSC30 better because they have less side blast and aren't as loud.

its made by Primary Weapon Systems and runs around $95. I know Addax & Rainer Arms carry them along with Global Tactical just to get you started on your search. I see a lot of guys running them and I will be trying one on the current rifle build to see for myself how it works. On my other 6.8 rifle I run a Noveske KX3 and like it but it is big bulky and spendy. It does a good job of sending the report forward but not ideal for my 16" barrel. Good luck to you in your quest for parts, keep us informed on the progress of the build.

I have the PRI/MsTN comp on my rifle, 16" barrel. and it is excelent for second shots but whoa its loud! uncomfertably loud, I will be switching it out as soon as the suppressor stuff goes through. If you don't mind good ear pro and you dont give a crap about your range neighbors its a good brake =)

MSTN.biz sells them, cheap? no.

You would have to pick up the step down adapter with the FSC30. The adapter is 5/8x24 to 1/2x36
