Alittle light reading for everyone...

Anybody ever think about this? If Old Dougy MacAuthur hadn't trumped the .276 Pedersen, that we might have been much further ahead today? It seem like the 6.8SPC and the 7x46 Murray could rather easily be mistaken as blood line from the Pedersen (7x51mm). The only reasons the Czechs dropped the 7.62x45mm was to conform to Warsaw Pact standardization *cringes* I hate politics... I guess this is what I meant about such little tweaking for all these new calibers, and reinventing the wheel.

I own a VZ52 in 7.62x45 and I love the way it shoots. I think that's a good round although it's only killed paper and steel for me.

I've heard that people have trouble finding ammo for that Cal. nowadays, how about you?
I would have to say that's true. I haven't seen any in quite awhile. I still have approx. 2k of it. I've seen dies that will form it for about $65.
