Picked up a P320

Well I have been reading so many good reviews on the P320 I added it to my short list of guns to buy this year. I finally got a chance to put my hands on one this past weekend at my LGS, while picking up some lowers I had shipped in. It felt great in my hand, the trigger felt really nice and it was the full size model that I wanted. It was very lightly used but the price was acceptable for me because it came with 3 mags, an owb sig brand holster, and night sights. I hope to get this thing to the range this weekend and put some rounds through it to see how it shoots.

I like the P320. Did find it a bit sensitive to my trigger finger bouncing in the trigger guard during recoil (45 ACP).

Would still feel better abt safety if it had a real safety. I really like the HK USP Compact in 45 ACP. Can be carried with chamber loaded, decocked, and locked. Trigger is crunch'n'ticker heavy though.
I finally got to put a couple hundred rounds through it today and must say it is an awesome shooter. After a couple magazines I was comfortable and shooting a ragged holes at 30ft. It is a little nose heavy but this may only be perceived as I'm used to shooting a XD Mod.2 subcompact with almost 2in less barrel.
I am torn between the full and compact models in 9mm. Local store has the compact for 580. Should I get it or go with full size?

If I were going to conceal this pistol on a regular basis I may have gotten a compact or carry and then swapped a sub compact grip on it. As it sits now I got it for fun at the range so full size is perfect for me, I am keeping my eye out for a compact grip module for if I ever do want to carry this pistol.

It all depends on how you want to use it, I found that the full size is a little front heavy when shooting but not enough that it makes me less accurate, I actually shoot this gun better than any handgun I've shot.

Hmm. Thanks for the reply. If it's as great a pistol as it sounds it may end up bing a carry option. Right now I plan on carrying my G23
