This is the first WT Deer I've killed with my 6.8. I used 120 SST factory load. I shot this 2 y/o spike at about 60 yards. He was on the move and didn't come from where I was expecting. He ignored me bleating at him and just kept on trotting. I hit him right behind the left shoulder but the angle and elevation was extreme and I only hit the left lung. He disappeared into the brush but I could hear him wheezing. When I approached he stood up and I finished him with a shot to the neck. He's my cull, now I'm looking for my trophy buck. I'm blessed to have meat in the freezer. Thank you Lord.
