Is there any reason I shouldn't use a Remington 6 1/2 primer for 32 S&W long or 32 H&R Mag loads? They are pretty low pressure rounds. The fact that they are rifle primers doesn't bother me, especially since these will be loaded in a revolver. Thoughts?

Just start low and work up to your regular loads.
It is possible the rifle primers may increase pressure...

Rem 6 1/2 are intended for low pressure rifles like the 22 hornet.
They may work for you, keep an eye for breech erosion just in case the primer gets all loosie goosie on you....

My BIL got some Rem 6 1/2s for a good price and was going to load .223 until I showed him that wasn't a good idea. I suggested he use them in his 9mm. He has had good results with that so you can probably do very well with your .32 loads.

Thanks everyone. Got 1000 of them and need to put them to use. I guess since it is raining I could go out and cast some bullets.
