What twist do you have? Requires 1:8. I use these in my Valkyrie. They are a target-only bullet and will just keyhole through a coyote.

RDF® Bullets (nosler.com)

Best to get a lighter varmint bullet that is flatter shooting, e.g. 55gr Nosler BT. They are available at Midsouth Shooters Supply and MidwayUSA.

Thanks Xman. Our TAC 6 is 22" ARP Triad. I think H first tested the Tac 6 with 105gr. If you think they will keyhole then there is no point. We have a 22" Valkyrie ARP Triad for lighter fare. Seems it would like the 62 Varmageddon if we could ever find them.

Might try the 6 with the Varmageddon 70 gr like alphasig said. I was willing to go for the 105gr Berger Hybrid Elite Hunters if could find them. The wind really howls up there where I like to hunker.

I hit a coyote 3x with 77 OTM one day and had 3 keyholes through the chest cavity. The Nosler RDF is the same construction. There are plenty of great .224 caliber bullets for coyotes. My Valkyrie is my best coyote rifle with E-tips, BT, and MKZs putting coyotes down fast. VLD bullets may buck the wind at longer ranges but faster bullets do as well or better at normal hunting ranges. My Valkyrie is like shooting a laser beam out to 250 yards and holdovers are easy out to 400 with 1/2 the drop of other bullets.

I have an 18" 6mm AR (Robert Whitley's 6mm wildcat) and have run the 70gr Nosler Varmageddon, the Hornady 87gr VMAX and the 105gr Nosler RDF out of it.
The 70gr Nosler is really accurate(sub-MOA) out to 300 (far as I have shot it).
The 87gr VMAX is ok (MOA) but is devastating on varmints(raccoons and possums so far).
The 105gr RDF is a finicky bullet to get to shoot but I have gotten MOA results out to 600 with it. I had to do a good bit of seating depth testing to find something I was happy with.

NOTE: THESE ARE MY RELOADS THAT ARE SAFE IN MY GUNS. ALWAYS START LOWER WITH ANY RELOAD DATA YOU FIND ON THE INTERNET AND WORK YOUR WAY UP.

105gr Nosler RDF over 29.5gr of Lever with an unsuppressed velocity of 2589fps. CBTO is 1.693"
It is a solid MOA load and consistent out to 600, just not a load that will shoot bugholes. I meant to load up that same load in 6mm ARC and shoot it in my 16" Proof, 22" Unitah Precision and my 24" Aero Precision but work has been insane the last several months.
