Hello from California. Been a lurker here for quite awhile. I decided the 6.8 may be a one size fits all solution for me, so figure what better place to learn than here. Currently have a .308, 5.56, and 300blk but adding the 6.8 and possibly getting rid of the rest depending on my life circs in the next couple months. Glad to be here and hope to learn some more. Obligatory family pic that the 6.8 will join 😁

Welcome SigSauerP226. I would agree with your assessment. I've never felt the need for a .308 and its heavier weight. I've had three 300BO and have found them anemic to the 6.8. I keep one for subsonic fun but a 200gr bullet at 1000 fps is basically a 45-cal pistol. I keep the 5.56 around because ammo is cheaper and more readily available. But the 6.8 and Valkyrie get 95% of the action.
