I just bought a new 6.8 SPC Bushmaster A3 Rifle. I traded a semi auto Uzi model B for it.
I am glad I traded. I wasn't using the Uzi.

I put an Osprey 3-9 40 scope on it. I laser bore sighted the scope before I went to the range. My first shots were on paper. By the time I put 6 shots down the range I was shooting a 4 shot group that was touching (almost one hole). I was using SSA 110 grain Nosler at 100 yds on a sunny day with very little wind off a bench rest. I will try to post pictures later.

I have a Ruger Mini 6.8 Ranch rifle which I bought before I got the Bushy. I am going to sell that now. I don't need it. I put a scope on it but I don't get the accuracy I get from the Bushmaster. Different guns I know. I like the looks of the Ruger but I can't afford it now.

I have also built 2 Alexander Arms 6.5 Grendel Rilfes. I used the Alex Arms barrel, upper receiver, bolt and put them on Bushmaster lowers. I don't have any factory ammo for the Grendels but I am impressed with the accuracy of the gun. I am using handloads. Time to compare the 2 first ha

Since this is a 6.8 discussion I will say I have hand loaded for the Ruger and I will start developing a load for the Bushmaster. If I can do better than the SSA I will be a verrrry happy shooter. Can't wait to get back to the range.

There's a lot iin this post. If you have to move this post, I understand.

Will to get pics soon. I'm a dentist and I'm old (63) so I'm tired at night. Have to eat with the better half, walk my treeing walker coonhound, blah blah. When it comes time for fun such as makling pics I'm ready to put it down.

My dealer called on the Bushy 6.8 that he found (now that's a good day) I told him to pull the trigger on the trade. I got 70 cents back when all was finished.

All for now have to go fix teeth.

You think that's cool. I also have a SIG 556 which is just as accurate with 55 grain bullets and an ACOG sight. I don't like to brag. I's not fair. I just got lucky.

Same here but I lucked out selling something which I didn't use. It's hard for me to sell a gun. I regret it when I read an article about it. But I have to look at it as an "invetstment" and not get emotional about it. I settled for the Ruger. It was a good substitute. It got me into shooting and reloading the 6.8 cartridge.
