Have started working on my next 6.8 build, have some ideas and parts. Help me choose the best of whats out there, price isn't a huge concern. Give any ideas on what you would do, or what I should change! Thanks guys!

Here is what I have planned:
Upper receiver: LaRue Stealth (have)
Barrel: Xtreme (on order)
BCG: Xtreme (on order)
Lower: Noveske or LaRue (both are tall orders to fill, would prefer unmarked)
LPK: RRA (on order)
Handguard: Daniel Defense Lite Rail 9.0
Buttstock: Magpul UBR
Grip: MIAD
Optic: Aimpoint ML3 W/LaRue mount (have)
BUIS: LaRue (Troy) combo

Handguard: Daniel Defense Lite Rail 9.0 I would get the 10" or 12", so it covers up the gas block.
Buttstock: Magpul UBR
Grip: MIAD
Optic: Aimpoint ML3 W/LaRue mount (have)
BUIS: LaRue (Troy) combo
Above in red is the only thing I would change.

I agree with paulo I like the look of a rifle length, besides that it sounds like a sweet build.

I think your wait for parts is going to be so long you will probably change your mind a few times... :D

I really am going to struggle to find one of two lowers I want, that should take more than enough time for the barrel.

The only thing you need to change is the shipping address to have the stuff dropped off at my place. :)

That's a great build and Paulo and Marines tip on the handguard length is a good one.

Triggers? The most economical change in triggers is the Bill Springfield trigger job at $35-$50. There's another thread about them with feedback. My next two Lower Parts Kit triggers are going to Springfield for his trigger work.

Next is the NM triggers from the likes of RRA, JP, Timney, and so on. The RRA NM triggers are nice and for the price seem to be a good deal. I'll let others tell you about other brands.

I am not real familiar with Gesselle, I know they make great match grade triggers but have had no expierence with them. Some pros and cons?
They are expensive. The non-adjustable combat version is a very scarce commodity because of the popularity and also because it's priced lower than the DMR version which lists at $279.00.

Their DMR trigger is capable of a high volumes of accurate fire with some seriously quick follow up capability if you can do your part.

I got to shoot Constructors DMR during that hunt a little, it seems like a great trigger, I know he likes it though I think he said a tuned RRA would be just about as good for less money...

Now if I got to spend some time with it I would probably like it even more.

The rifle length HG is a must. I really am on a "quest" for a Stealth lower...maybe when hell freezes over I will come across one.

I have shot Giselle and they are awesome. I also have a tuned RR and a tuned LMT. If cash is a concern I find my AR-10 triggers tuned by Bill Springfield (factory spec down to 3.5 - 4lbs) are a tad better for a $40 fee. Whole lot cheaper and Bill is a great guy. That's the LE/Mil price but I think it's $10 more for civi.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a Noveske KoolAid drinker, and I do have one on my N4 upper, but I lucked into a strippe done 2 yrs ago. Otherwise I'm a bigger fan of the MEGA stripped lowers.

I also agree w. others on the longer length rails to cover the GB. My fav look is my MRP rifle length upper w. a 14.5/16 barrel. Worth the extra weight for the KOOOOOOOOOOL factor. Kinda kidding -- I often like to put accessories out there a bit.

Buying the Noveske was a lot easier when I found one for a good price..
