I've got a it of a problem in the safe... An EMPTY SPOT!!!! And we can't have that, now can we??

On the left, my trusty G23 (.40S&W). On the right, a special edition Kimber Ultra Tac II (.45ACP) What do you think would go well to fill in that empty spot?

My thoughts are leaning toward a Springfield XD 4" Service model in .45ACP (She likes the two tone)... OR... Another Glock... Maybe a G21 or even a G21C for something completely different. I'd like it to be a carry gun, but that's not 100% necessary. If for carry, nothing physically larger than my "daily driver" G23. Sub compacts or slim frames are out as they don't really feel comfortable in my hand.

After looking at SOOOOOO many online, my head's in a spin. Am I over looking a gun I really should be considering?

I've got the .22 cal covered with this lil' beauty. Decent grip, a good "heft" to her and a GREAT trainer!!!

My buddy let my shoot his Sig the other day and I really didn't care for the feel. Another Glock would be okay, but I already have the G23 with a G19 on the way... If for no other reason than to just to have a GREAT 9mm in the "stable". Wheel guns have never been a real favorite of mine. However, I do have a S&W 629 Classic for deer if the spirit moves me. And it follows me everywhere when armed with a bow in bear country.

All that said, I'm still leaning heavily on the 4", XD45. (With the stainless slide to keep the lil' woman happy. :wink: ) I hoping to make down to "the fun house" (indoor range in the city that draws a lot of "freaks") and put a few rounds through a rental in the next day or two. Hopefully the trigger won't be as "mushy" as I've heard they can be.

If it is... Is there a fix available for the XD trigger?

Well I didn't get a revolver, but did find a smokin' deal on a XD45. It's not the two tone, but got the "okay" from her to go ahead with the purchase due to the savings!!

My safe door is now complete... At least for this week!! :wink:

Wait a minute ! I see vacant space below the Ruger 22. You could squeeze another handgun or two in that space between the rifles. What about that space?

I see those empty spaces as well!!! But they wouldn't hold a candle to the empty space in my bank account if those were filled!! :shock: :mrgreen:
