Man those rifles are looking good. I am trying not to get too excited waiting on my upper. I have everything that I need to complete the rifle except the Extreme upper and deciding on the optics. I am going to wait till I get the rifle together to decide if I want an EOTech or a scope. Nice rifles, can't hardly wait for mine. :D

woa rra tuned 2-stage with ss springs
a1 stock

ss flatwire spring
EOTech D1

I can't get to the range until Wednsday but that leaves me time for hand cycling an admiring.

My Xtreme arrived yesterday afternoon. Today's first four rounds (SSA 110gr. Prohunters) fired at 25 meters are easily covered by a dime. The fifth round showed just a bit. I would haved moved the targets out further but we had West Texas' common 30mph wind gusts with blowing sand. And, my eyes are getting pretty ancient!
I had a Millett DMS-1 and fired standing with a bipod off a high stand. I also fired some SSA 90gr Sierra Varminters and a box of Tactical Load Prohunters. Groups from each type of cartridge stayed as nice-sized as the first. (I can't explain my luck boresiting right on the point of aim today. Must be the karma of the Xtreme!) The rest of my piece is a CMMG lower and kit, and a simple adjustable buttstock.
Brass is all beautiful - practically no marks showing and certainly no dents or scratches. All brass dropped in and fell out of the case gauge perfectly.
This is a superbly engineered upper and a fabulous shooter. I can say I have never had anything come out-of-the-box like this. Thanks to the designers and builders, Constructor and Tim_W.

Lothar-has delayed again, now they say they will start the 5th. order placed the end of October, promised Jan, delivered April.
I have learned my lesson and will place orders with every barrel manufacture and sell what shows.

Will these other barrels be the same design or will be the a standard 4 groove or whatever?

At the moment the only place I don't have orders is Krieger Criterion barrels, I will have to design a 11.25 twist 4 groove button and they will be more expensive than the Lothar poly.

I really think 3/4-1" is about all we can expect from a chromelined barrel.

Well if thats what we can get from lothar... (if we ever get them) then i dont think the added expense is worth it.....
