Thought ya'll might like to see my new LaRue 5.56 Stealth Sniper System: on bottom. My RRA 6.8 on top. All i need to complete this set up is the new TA31H-68 for my RRA 6.8. Think i will switch that Doctor Red Dot onto that TA31H optic since the 6.8 is my hunting/battle/home defense rifle. I'm pretty sure i can switch it over to any ACOG can't I? I need to delve deepers into this. I like that Surefire Mx962.... But i don't think i'll leave it on. Think i will have to go with another E2D LED Defender and a LaRue offset Mount. I love it on my 6.8, i have it on the other side in this pic. I should take some more pics of that setup. The 5 Lumen is very nice for stalking through the woods in the early morning. That Mx962 is just too much. I'm into the LED Small profile lights now.

Yeah, those Tactical Beverage Entry Tools crack me up... :a01: I've given a few away because I can't find a reason to keep more than one.
I bet you don't have the Christmas Ornament >; )
EDITED TO REMOVE MY OPINION THAT LARUE MAKES THE BEST STUFF OUT THERE!! Also removing my opinion about LaRue haters.

OP great looking gun and keep let us know how she shoots now that she is "all" Larue. I would say take your current Trijicon and the dot off the LaRue, put it on the 6.8 and buy a good high powered scope to compliment your upper, oh and don't forget to get an SPR mount for it. ;-)
Ok... now you've got me thinking....

What i wanted to do was take the red dot off and put it on my new TA31H-68 when i eventually buy that.So run just the ACOG on the LaRue... But i wouldn't mind going with one of those Trijicon Acupoints.... those are nice. Hmmmm.

But my main Focus is the TA31H-68, so I'll have the TA31 for 5.56 left over, and that pretty much kills 2 brids with one stone. I could eventually.... down the line get that rifle scope. But since hunting season is coming up, Think i will stick with getting my 6.8 up and ready to knock down some hogs and hopfully a nice whitetail. If I don't get it time, the TA31DOC stays on my 6.8 till i get what i need. Sweet... I need to head to the doctor to get my daily anti-BRD shot, I got it bad man.... I need some BRD bad!
Bull001 how long was the ship time and also how do you like the FHG?
Do you mean the FUG? I think it's really nice quality Aluminum. About a hundred bucks, but it has 3 different bottom components to adjust the leangth. I actually just decided to drop it down to the middle adjustment bottom cap, and i flipped my LaRue offset flashlight mount because of how i'm gripping my AR now. You guys need to watch The Art of The Tactical Carbine. I've learned alot from those guys from Magpul. I suggest everyone look into it.

The FUG made by LaRue is not aluminum, it is high density polymer and is internally re-enforced with aluminum for the mounting point.
I love Laure products! Great product and they work!

I wish he posted over here, IIRC he is a 6.5 shooter on occasion.....I wonder if he is up to date with the advances in the 6.8 in the last few years?
I keep both the Marks @ LaRue Tactical informed on the 6.8 ;)

ooooooOOOOOOOOOooooo! How much do you have to spend to get one of those???:a02:

I'm sorry dude, i thought that was aluminum, same type of material that a quad rail was made of. At least it feels like it! I didn't realize, thanks for the correction. Whatever it's made of, it feels good and solid. I think the FUG is worth the money if you've got the money to spend.

I dunno man, i had a problem actually right before Christmas lastyear. I was out in Del Rio hunting, and i was demonstrating to a friend how sweet the FUG is with it's quick release, then i let him handle the rifle after. Next thing i know we're back at camp minus the FUG. I guess i screwed up the reattachment (multiple beers can cause this problem, be on your toes). So i sent LaRue an email next to my new order for a FUG (because i thought they were so nice) and i told them i would like to have it the week before Christmas(and explained how i lost my previous FUG) because i was fixing to head back out there to hunt again and i wanted to have that FUG on the hunt (I live in Houston, so Del Rio is a 6 hour drive). So... Someone at LaRue approved a complete replacemnt on my FUG... They just replaced it with no charge. The invoice said "gift".... I was drop jawed. Then I recieved a green Beverage Entry Tool opener with a small hole in it to hang it up as a Christmas Ornament. I'm guessing some of ya'll got this too around Christmas right???

I'd lke to buy Mark LaRue a beer.

No worries man.
A lot of us would like to buy Mark a beer, I am guessing he is a Lonestar or Shiner drinker since they are the "Texas Standards."
