A matched bolt would be nice, but most bolts are all standard and will work with no problems. If you want, you can buy a Monson no-go gauge just to be safe. I would start with a regular carbine buffer first and see where the brass ejects. Ideally you want it to eject at the 3-4 oc'clock position. If it ejects at the 1 or 2 o'clock position, then try a heavier buffer.
