Do you use the Horus reticle? How do you like it?

It's an interesting set up that reticle they have. No need for turrets. Just takes a new way of thinking.

Yes I do, as you can see here the H425 is just right for a AR-15

I run a 300yd ZERO, so each red dot is my DOPE for 100, 200, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800 yds

With running a300yd ZERO I can maximize the H425 for longer range windage better. I think its a waste to ZERO @ 100yds with this optic. On a .308win I would run a 400yd ZERO and just hold under from 400 and closer.

Ya, when I got to use one my first thought was this would be perfect for a medium range rig like an AR15 where you sometimes need to make "snap" shots. Been thinking of picking on up myself. I just wish they had an illuminated scope in the 4-12 range. How do you like their optics? I've been told it's Nikon so shouldn't be too bad.

Also, heard a rumor that IIRC Zeiss/Swarovski will have the Horus reticle available in the new year. I hope that's true.

Excellent system for the trained marksman.

Many company's offer the Horus reticle. I think the Hawk is the best bang for the buck out there due to the fact, if you have not used the system and want to try it, its a $500 scope.

Buy this one, try it out, if you like it, keep it, or sale it to fund a higher end brand with a Horus in it.

What other brands offer the Horus reticle?
