Surprised this hasn't come up. http://www.nationalreview.com/corne...ney-general-unilaterally-bans-assault-weapons

I could only hope that Smith and Wesson and Savage would vote with their feet and relocate to a free state.

I sure this will be contested in court. Hopefully soon.
I started to post about it last night, but deleted it, I was too sick over it. I'm still speechless.
Welcome to the nightmare! I am absolutely shocked Kamala Harris did not stoop this low first! (Thank GOD!)
This is an absolute pile of horse sh!t. Time to stop electing the mentally ill!

I just find it hard to believe that the Attorney General can do this without going through the legislature. I think she is overstepping her bounds.
good write up

"They sell guns without a flash suppressor or folding or telescoping stock, for example, small tweaks that do nothing to limit the lethalness of the weapon.
"Healey .

"(This scenario would be especially odd given that Healey concedes that there is no good reason to ban accessories, and therefore raises the question of why the state did so in the first instance.)"
Because they just blindly copied the expired federal bill, even though it was shown to have zero impact on crime.
.......for example, small tweaks that do nothing to limit the lethalness of the weapon.

An airsoft rifle ain't doing jack for self protection! DUH!!!! And an AR15 is not nearly as lethal as the calibers available in the Browning BAR rifle except in close quarters.
The AG has got to be from California!!!:a43: Where is my ghost gun and my 30 round magazine clips? Next thing you know they will be after our pellet rifles!
For those who can be there.

Seems to me there must be one or two local sheriffs who are not loonie and can make a arrest for disregarding the oath of office.
Governor Charlie Baker, a Republican, indicated his support for Healey's ban.

It comes to mind that a few hundred years ago the government banned firearms and were marching to Concorde and Lexington Mass to confiscate them. I think we all know the rest of the story. At least I hope we do.

They're pushing the limits now, how much more are people willing to swallow what's being shoved down their throats? For the people and by the people is being overtaken by "because I said so"

Sent from a final firing position, the crosshairs are on you!

Once they meet resistance a few times, those enforcing these draconian leaders whims will wake up.

Oh goodie! A great bedtime story that ends happily ever after!:a32:

Seems there was quite the run on AR that are high powered weapons today!

"We are much better off than we were last week..." She is seriously ill referring to an uptick in sales making the streets "safer". But she may be correct in that more guns in the hands of responsible citizens does in fact reduce crime.

Maybe S&W and Savage need to do like MagPul and make more available to the citizens of MA a priority.
This is a clear violation of Article 17 of her state constitution. How can this stand?

Because of liberal federal/state courts and no enforcement from either the DOJ
or SCOTUS. Anti-gun state governments/politicians are ignoring Heller and McDonald
rulings knowing their liberal appeals courts will favor gun control. This will only
get worse unless we get a pro-Constitutional supreme court majority. Courts have
even ruled the while some of these laws may be unconstitutional, public safety is of greater
concern so they let these state laws stand. It will take a federal district court or
the Supreme Court to finally put a stop to this. If it goes the other way - States
will be able to do practically anything they want. Liberals don't need to abolish
the Second Amendment. They will just deny it exists as a personal right. That is
in opposition the the Heller ruling but does not mean anything unless it is enforced.
