Has anyone seen this? This is nothing more than Obama's civilian security farce in a different package! How do you "volunteer" when you are forced too. :shock:

I am pretty sure I saw a commercial yesterday with Obama promoting this and asking for volunteers.

Rush , Hannity, Beck, they all know this stuff is going to happen. I'm wondering if SHTF will be sooner than later. To think someone would be so blatant enough to do something like this. Who's

Given how many people I meet daily who hate the country they live in, I don't think it would be a bad idea to have a mandated draft for young people to serve. I'd prefer military service, like a lot of other countries have. Would make it a level playing field for everyone of different wealth classes too -- so poor immigrants would serve along with silver-spoon types. I think that would go a long way to foster feelings of patriotism among our youth. Maybe I'm just sounding like a bitter old man, but I think the difference between the patriotism by the average American back in WWII versus now is huge.

I would have no problem with this requirement And I am still youn enough to follow it. But not what is being outlined in the stuff this tyra.......president is trying to do.

I dont support a draft for the mil becuase I had a hard enough time dealing with the kids that were there for the college money.... History has proven time and time again a full volunter force is better then a drafted force..

I dont like the idea of making "volunteering" required to graduate HS or any of that other crap for the same reasons.

If we cant foster patriotism in our children then we need to look at what we are doing wrong, not force them to do it anyways.

As for making everyone volunteer, no way that's going to happen. People are too lazy and there are too many of "US" running around for that. If it passes through the House my bet is there will be some changes.

This President is one scary dude....be interesting to see what he tries next.

I don't want to know. I just want him gone. If he keeps this crap going like I think he will,
