I was wondering if any of you guys have had any experience with these magnifiers? I know they probably aren't the best out there, but are they at least good? Thanks for any advice.

I have been looking at these also. They have a 3x,5x, and 7x. They just came out with 2 new models(3x and 5x) that are rubber coated. From the user feedback submitted around the web, it seems everybody is happy with the price/performance. I haven't heard any negatives. A few reviewers mentioned they were still working great after 50 rounds in a high powered rifle. They are waterproof, fogproof and shockproof. They are multi-coated and come with a new mount that is supposed to be better than the early mounts I heard had some slippage problems. The only possible negative is the eye relief of 1.65". For reference I compared it to the EOTECH 3x. Eotech's website says the new model has a 1/2" more than their last model. The current model has 1.97". Since I am waiting on my 6.8 rifle while it is being built, I can't speak from experience as to how much eye relief we need with our rifles, but I for one don't want to go walking around looking like Rocky Balboa after a fight!
I looked all around and found the best price(no tax, no shipping here :

Hope this helps.
Have a great one.

The magnifiers are used with EOTECH and Aimpoint or similar red dot sights. As the red dots do not have any magnification you buy a magnifier and it increases the range you can better use the red dot to about 300 yards.

So why would you need to magnify a red dot scope? Won't that just make the dot BIGGER? Or does the magnifier go in front of the red dot? That's just weird. Why don't they make a variable power red dot scope? Am I missing something here?

It goes behind the red dot. It magnifies the dot and the target, so it is like having a Front Focal Plane Scope. A variable powered red dot scope would be nice, but they don't have the technology to make it yet. Here is what mine looks like:

The magnifier and red dot works very good when you have the magnifier set up with quick flip/twist to side mount. That will more than likely be the setup I am going to use for carbine and multigun comps with my 556. I have a millett dms on my 6.8 right now, but I think the dot and mag will be perfect for fast acquisition of up close targets while still giving me the ability to focus in on shots out to 300-400 yards.

OIC. Interesting. No offense, but I think I'll stick with glass for distance shots and keep the iron sights for close stuff. Even with my crappy eyes, I'm still pretty good with them out to 100 yards.

The Magnifier and RDS setup has its purposes. Its a great set up for Law Enforcement work, reason being, the RDS is great for in houses or firefights within 50 meters. Flip the magnifier over and you can reach out further, without haveing to rezero a magnified optic or worry about changing them out.

they work with any as long as they are the same height, that is one thing you need to know when you order mounts for it....
Here is mine with an EOtech and an Aimpoint 3x on a larue flip away mount.
